I know nowadays you can buy store brought cookies for dime a dozen and the variety you get is kind of unbeatable but what you don’t get so easily is the joy of baking for your kids , the heady aroma of freshly baked cookies wafting around the house and children waiting eagerly by the oven waiting for the cookies to get baked and the best is these cookies are so easy to make.
Butter
Flour
Baking powder
Lemon Zest
Candid Orange peel
Egg
Caster sugar
Vanilla Ess
Method
In a bowl cream butter and sugar together.
Add a zest of lemon.
Next add the candied orange peel which have been chopped fine.
Add an egg and keep on creaming it.
Sieve flour with baking powder.
Add it to the creamed fat make it in to a dough.
Divide the dough in to small balls flatten them. Apply some water or milk over them and roll them in crunchy muesli or corn flakes.
Keep these cookies on a cookie sheet. Bake it at 170 degrees for 13 mins .
Voila ! Your cookies are ready.
